How get to hotels and conference place from airports

Shanghai has two airports, Pudong International Airport (PVG, 浦东国际机场) and Hongqiao International Airport (SHA, 虹桥国际机场). Please pay attention to which airport your plane will land.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University has several campuses. The conference venue is on Min Hang Campus (闵行校区, 800 Dongchuan Rd., 东川路800号). Min Hang Campus Hotel (Academic Exchange Centre 学术活动中心) is very close to the Main Gate of Min Hang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a two minutes’ walk.

From Pudong Airport:

u       Take taxi, the price is about 220 Yuan RMB (about USD 35), it will take you about 90 minutes to arrive at Min Hang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University;

u       Take bus air-line 7, to Shanghai South Railway Station, the price is 20 Yuan RMB (about USD 3), then wave a taxi (price is 70 Yuan RMB about USD 11) you may arrive at Min Hang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

From Hongqiao Airport:

u       Take taxi, the price is about 80 yuan rmb (about USD 15), it will take you about 45 minutes to arrive at Min Hang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Note:

(1)    At the airport if you take taxi, you should queue for the drivers who will take up you to the place you want, the price is according to distance meter rationally.

(2)    When your leaving the taxi car, you need to take the receipt which is printed by a small printer on which you can find the driver and the taxi company, if you lose something on the car, you can look for the taxi and its company manager to help.
